The money part
Insurance and billing
Insurance
We take most of the major commercial carriers in Oregon and Washington, and we'll bill your plan for you.
We work directly with: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Providence Health Plans, First Choice Health Network, and most of the other big commercial plans.
Not with one of those? No problem. A lot of plans still cover 60-80% of your visit. We'll send you a Superbill so you can submit it for reimbursement. Call your insurance and ask about out-of-network benefits, they'll tell you exactly what's covered.
We're not able to work with Medicare or Medicaid patients.
Billing & payment
We keep a card on file and run it before your appointment, unless we've worked out something different.
Not feeling the card option? You can pay through Venmo or CashApp. Honestly, we prefer Zelle or Bitcoin. Zelle gets you a 5% discount; BTC gets you 10% off.
Self-pay rates
If you'd rather pay out of pocket, you pay at the time of your visit and there's nothing waiting to surprise you later.
- Initial Psychiatric Evaluation: $425
- Follow-ups: $150 - $400
Full fee schedule lives in your welcome packet, and if anything on our end changes, you'll hear it from us first. We can't control your insurance, but we won't be the ones surprising you.

How we run things
Policies and working with us
Cancellations
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, we'll have to charge the full appointment fee. In some situations your provider may waive or reduce it to $200, at their discretion.
We get that life happens, but short notice makes it tough to fill the spot, and our time, like yours, is valuable. Please reach out as soon as you know.
Training the next generation
We work with Nurse Practitioner, Medical, and Physician Assistant students. They get hands-on learning under our close supervision. Every treatment decision is a team effort between student and supervising clinician.
You might see students joining sessions, telehealth or in-person. It's part of how we help train the next wave of providers. Participation is essentially required to work with us, while it's your choice to opt out, we may not be able to continue care if you do.
What working with us looks like
Getting a psych eval doesn't automatically mean you become a patient here. Sometimes a higher level of care is the right call. If that's the case, we'll connect you with programs that fit better.
If we're a good match, we'll lay out recommendations. If you're not on board with the plan, no hard feelings, you should be working with someone whose approach feels right.
We expect you to:
- Show up for appointments
- Answer calls and messages
- Pay bills on time
- Take meds as prescribed
- Be honest about your story
If things don't work out, you'll have enough refills (~a month) to find a new provider.
Privacy / HIPAA
HIPAA-compliant in every system. Everything from records to messaging to scheduling. Your story stays between us, just like it should be.

Didn't see your question?
Just ask. We'd rather field a question now than make you guess later.
